Eleven stories, eleven stops - free mobile guide

A genius world famous artist, creator of a whole new artistic style and author of the famous Slav Epic - that's Alphonse Mucha. See his hometown Ivančice through his eyes with an audio guide. And then you can pop into nearby Moravský Krumlov to see the giant canvases of The Slav Epic

Take a tour of his hometown Ivančice with the mobile app and see the town through his eyes. What places did Alphonse Mucha like? Where did his friends and lovers live? Where did he draw inspiration for The Slav Epic?

Eleven stops, eleven short stories are linked by historical photographs, unique documents and excerpts from letters. All this brings to life his loves - be it his love for his first girlfriend, Julinka Fialová, or for his love for his hometown Ivančice. Both loves became his lifelong inspiration.

The whole tour lasts about 90 minutes, and the goodbye message to the pilgrims was voiced by the grandson of the famous painter himself: "The greatest of virtues is love. And Alphonse Mucha received it and gave it. He had to later abandon his Ivančice loves as a young man to follow the call of others - of art and painting. But he carried that love with him throughout his life," says John Mucha.
