VETERANFEST, MEETING OF VINTAGE VEHICLES ENTHUSIASTS

The youngest exhibited vehicle can be from 1989, but unique vehicles that remember even the First Czechoslovak Republic era come to Slavkov every year. Thousands of admirers of technical beauty and history from the Czech Republic and countries such as Austria and Scotland traditionally gather on the last Saturday in June in the imposing surroundings of the castle park.

And it's not just about technical beauty and a unique show of vintage cars, motorbikes, tractors, bicycles... The event is always beautified by ladies in decent models, including hats and wigs from the times of the First Czechoslovak Republic, there is a lively swing dancing between the cars, and the children are definitely having fun, too. There is also an extensive spare parts and antiques auction at the meeting.
