Parrot zoo in Bošovice
The only zoo of its kind in Europe
Over 100 aviaries, 500 square metres, over 200 parrots, over 50 species - Come to Bošovice to a unique family zoo to admire parrots from 3 continents, including the most endangered species such as as the Cuban amazons and the red-fronted macaw.
You'll see several species of macaws, cockatoos and the African talking grey parrot with your own eyes, and also learn a lot about the life of exotic birds in their native habitat and in the wild.
The zoo grounds are wheelchair accessible, with plenty of greenery, humidifying fountains and a gazebo from where you can watch the birds and they can watch you. Grab a bite to eat at Kakadu Café.
