With steam to the miners
The fourth season of the summer event With Steam to the Miners is about to begin. This year, due to the great interest of visitors and co-organizers, it is being expanded to five dates. An experiential trip to explore the mining history of the Rosice-Oslavany region
Find out what it was like around Zbýšov, Babice and Zastávka in the Brno region when black coal was mined here. Take a ride with a steam engine or a mine train along the former mine siding, which used to take the coal to the main line. Recall the special charm of industrial monuments and industrial machines. Climb the local artificial hills - the tailings heaps that tower over Babice and Zbýšov. You (or at least your children) will come away from this trip a bit dirty, but that's what the "black coal history" of Rosice-Oslavany region is all about.
