The acacia lookout tower is a uniquely designed structure. It artfully combines concrete, metal and wood - yes, acacia. It is perfectly suited for the construction of a tower, which must withstand all the vagaries of the weather in Winter and Summer. Acacia wood is very hard, considerably flexible and tough, and can withstand water and weather of all kinds.
You will climb 76 stairs - 3 concrete, 12 metal and 61 wooden. The spiral staircase will make one's head spin, and the last part of the climb up the metal stairs is a bit of a dare. But who would give up before the top when the view from the top viewing platform is so awesome!
The lookout tower is open 24 hours a day and free of charge. Take the green hiking trail up to it. Nothing will disturb your contemplation, as no cars are allowed to drive up to the tower. The lookout tower is part of a tourist circuit with a sophisticated information system, so be sure to follow the nature trail, too.
