Moravian Smoked Meat and Wine Festival, Veveří Castle
We can't think of a better symphony than Moravian smoked meat and wine. Come and taste fragrant smoked meat, sausages, kielbasa, cracklings and other delicacies from the workshops of selected sausage makers from all over Moravia for two days. It's not about mindless overeating - you and other gourmets will enjoy the meat and vote for the King of the Sausage Makers. The best home-made smoked meat will also receive a prize.
THE BIGGEST WINE AND SAUSAGE SHOW IN THE WORLD (MAYBE), CERTAINLY IN THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Count on honest products the master sausage makers are duly proud of - Traditional family recipes may be a bit of alchemy, but they must be free of chemicals. The goodies are washed down with selected wines from small Moravian wineries, and beer from small breweries, too. There is also the popular eating contest and another programme that is dedicated to children.
