Police station
The Kuřim Chetnik Station is an authentic place that transports visitors to the period of the First Republic. It is located on the main road from Brno to Tišnov and thanks to history enthusiasts, the gendarmerie service of the time comes to life here. Fans of the Chetnik Humoresky series, as well as everyone else, can see the exhibition full of historical artefacts and enjoy themed events focused on First Republic life.
Opening hours are adapted to the interest of the public. On Fridays, the station is open from 3 pm and usually closes around 10 pm, but the gendarmes are happy to chat with visitors late into the night. On Saturdays and Sundays, the station is open from 9am to 10pm and visitors can stay longer if there is more interest. The exhibition is constantly expanding.
