Museum of Vyškov Region
The museum is housed in the local castle, where Napoleon also spent the night. Expositions of the history of Vyškov and its surroundings are complemented by interactive elements, thanks to which you can learn a lot of information in an entertaining way. Vyškov Folk Pottery
One of the most important collections of faience in Moravia. The exhibition traces its development from its Habanese origins in the 17th century to local pottery from the 18th to the 20th century.
The ethnographic exhibition
presents the everyday life of the inhabitants of the Vyškov region in the 19th century. The main attraction is the Hanak world house, which was already presented at the Ethnographic Exhibition in Prague in 1895.
Nature of the Vyškov Region
An interactive tour of the local nature from north to south, which takes visitors to nine interesting places and introduces the local fauna and flora.
Prehistory of Vyškov Region
This exhibition traces the development of the region from the Stone Age to the annexation of Moravia to the Přemyslid state in the early 11th century.
The medieval development of Vyškov
Presented on the ground floor of Vyškov Castle, where architectural elements of the original Gothic castle have been preserved. The exhibition focuses on village life, church administration and the bourgeoisie.
