A modern multimedia exhibition that will entertain all the senses and delight visitors young and old. In the Cellar under the New Town Hall, a place of contrast between ancient spaces, contemporary artists and new technologies.

Not all cellars are the same

The Fire Horse and Dragon exhibition is located in an ancient cellar built by the royal mintmasters under their court not long after the foundation of Brno in the 13th century. It is therefore the ideal place for a narration about the history of Brno provided by Marie Ludvíková and Cyril Drozda, among others. Illustrations and animations will also take you back to the Middle Ages, the Thirty Years' War and other historical periods. Thanks to them you'll find find yourself in the medieval marketplace, among others, and see things that were once forgotten.

Brno legends

Who is the best storyteller? Grandpa! And where else to listen to and also experience Brno legends than in the place where history has been written since the Middle Ages? In the mysterious vaulted rooms, you will be able to meet the most famous of them - You will see the Brno dragon, the wheelwright Jiří Pirk, you will learn how it was with the crooked phial at the Brno Town Hall and at the same time you will find out what old Brno had in common with the present one. Or didn't it? All this in Veronika Vlková's illustrations.

And that's not all!

Do you feel like you've reached the end? Big mistake. At the very bottom of this Brno underground, you will experience the siege of Brno by the Swedes first hand. You will be transported back to 1645. The Thirty Years' War is raging in Europe, and neither Moravia nor Brno is spared, and you become part of the legendary battle...
