Castle Račice
This imposing landmark of the Vyškov region began its existence in the 13th century as a medieval castle.
The Račice Chateau has been an impressive dominant of the Vyškov region for centuries. However, its premises have never been open to the public. Those who did not work or study in the castle could only guess what its interiors look like.
Although since 1938 the General Staff of the Czechoslovak Army, the Prostějov Military Academy and a primary school, vocational school and children's home have been successively occupied by the castle, you will be pleasantly surprised how much of the original decoration and older and newer furnishings have been saved and presented in an unusual way.
